Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Namık Kemal University aims to develop programs for the differentiating problems of the changing society and offer education on labor issues in the light of a wide range of disciplines, including social politics, law, economics, sociology, psychology and management. The department has a large pool of courses and provides students a variety of general and field-oriented courses such as social politics, law, economics, sociology, social psychology, labour economics. This dynamic background gives a point of view for examining and researching working life with its economic, legal, social and psychological aspects.
Our department offers an Optional English Preparatory Class and students also can benefit from Erasmus+ Student Exchange Programs. In addition to that Tekirdag Namık Kemal University Career Center provides consultancy support and internship opportunities in public and private sectors.
Graduates of our department can be employed as inspectors, auditors, or experts in various units, most notably in the human resources departments, in both the public and private sectors.
